AT fluid change
Timely oil change is essential not only in the internal combustion engine, but in automatic transmissions as well. If you follow the intervals recommended, your automatic transmission will operate properly for a long time. We recommend going through such technical support service at least every 50-60 thousand kilometers of the running distance. If the total car running distance exceeds 500 thousand km, it is better to reduce oil change intervals to every 30-40 thousand km.
We often face the situation when customers ordering AT repairs at our station are sure that their automatic transmission is not subject to any maintenance as is prescribed by its manufacturer. However, no one knows for sure what exact interval is implied. This is the misconception that leads to expensive AT repairs against the regular oil change cost.
Please note that if the oil contains the amount of chips exceeding the normal volume, more detailed automatic transmission diagnostics may be required, which we will do for free.

Types of oil change
- Partial. This method implies a similar algorithm with oil change in the internal combustion engine. It is drained through a special plug on the pallet. After that, specialists will study its condition and check it for the content of foreign inclusions in the form of chips. If the condition of oil is satisfactory, we replace the oil filter (if it is provided), clean the pallet and magnetic traps from chips, and pour in new oil recommended by the manufacturer. This allows to change more than 50% of the total oil volume;
- 2. If the condition of drained off oil is unsatisfactory , it may need to be completely replaced. For this purpose, we use special equipment that cooperates with all types of automatic transmission. Oil change is performed under pressure when new oil displaces the used one. This method allows to fully replace lubricants and provide the necessary level of the units’ protection.
